Coach Phill is all about building strength that sticks — not just in your body, but in your mindset and routines too. With over 16 years of coaching experience and a CrossFit Level 3 Trainer qualification, Phill brings deep knowledge, calm confidence and a no-nonsense approach to every session at Nova.

His coaching style is focused and straightforward. Whether you’re stepping into your first class, getting back into training, or pushing for new performance goals, Phill meets you where you are and helps you build from there.

Experience and coaching expertise

Phill is a CrossFit Level 3 Trainer with more than 16 years of coaching experience in strength and conditioning.

At Nova, he leads the Cross Training and Bootcamp classes, delivering structured sessions that blend strength work, conditioning and purposeful progressions. His workouts are designed to challenge you while building real, long-term progress.

With a sharp eye for technique and a deep understanding of training principles, Phill ensures every movement has purpose and every session moves you closer to your goals.

Coaching style: simple, consistent, effective

Phill believes the best training is clear, consistent and sustainable.
